Reviews: Super Nintendo Games

This section covers reviews of Super Nintendo games. Released after the Sega Genesis, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) set out to prove that Nintendo was still a powerful contender in the video game market and that it was just as cool as the Genesis. However, this was sometimes questioned when Nintendo's censorship policy limited the gory awesomeness of titles like Mortal Kombat, which gave Sega fans ample excuse to fling eggs at Nintendo's door. New installments of Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid naturally came to the system, but it also had powerhouses like Street Fighter II, Mega Man X, and the venerable Chrono Trigger.
