Reviews: Game Boy Games
This section covers reviews of Game Boy games. The Game Boy, like the NES, is an important part of gaming history. Beforehand, Nintendo had created the handheld Game and Watch series of games, but the Game Boy could use cartridges like the NES and featured an exciting color pallete of green and white. It was packaged with Tetris during its launch and...well, any gamer worth his salt knows what a juggernaut Tetris is. It clashed with Sega's Game Gear and Atari's Lynx, but both of those trailed due to their horrible battery life. And just when you thought Game Boy was down for the count, Pokemon debuted on the handheld to utterly manhandle the gaming industry. The Game Boy had other noticable titles besides Pokemon, though, such as Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Metroid II: Return of Samus, Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge, and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
